Solr online training classes in 2018

Since we’ve been working with Solr on a daily basis for over a decade now and know so much about it, we like helping others improve their knowledge of these technologies, not only by sharing our knowledge in meetups and conferences but also through Solr training classes. Thus, we decided to periodically run the 2-day Solr online training classes in March, May, September and December 2018.

Instructor-led and highly hands-onour Solr classes consist of several sequences of short lectures followed by interactive, hands-on exercises. Each lecture-practicum block ends with a Q&A session. Thus, all three Solr online training classes are very comprehensive, hands-on and chalk-full of hard-earned tips and tricks that will save you time, elevate your level of competency, and help you master Solr faster.

Thank you for a very informative training, such a wealth of information that I truly enjoyed learning about.

The online training classes are taught by Sematext engineer — and author of Solr books — Rafał Kuć. Each course includes over 20 chapters and lots of hands-on exercisesBe prepared to learn a lot! See the details, including training overview.

Online public training classes proved to bring together a variety of attendees from different parts of the world, speaking different languages, having a different level of knowledge and different expectations. Challenging? Yes, it is! However, I’ve discovered that attendees tend not to be shy and interaction is great. It turns out such diversity exposes attendees to a wider variety of real-world Solr use-cases and increases the value they get from our Solr classes.
