At the end of November, we’ll be migrating the Sematext Logs backend from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch

Saving response body is now optional

December 2, 2022

When you create an HTTP Monitor with Sematext Synthetics, the response body is saved after each monitor run. This allows you to debug your endpoint or create alerts based on the response body.

But sometimes the response body can contain sensitive data and you don’t want it to be visible in your test results.

You can now use the option to disable saving of the response body when you configure your HTTP Monitors from the Configure Response section.

If you disable this option, Sematext won’t save the response body hence it will not be shown on the Run details screen.

For more information please refer to Synthetics HTTP Monitor.
