When troubleshooting issues with your application by interrogating its logs, you may prefer to minimize all the visual noise of a rich graphical UI and instead opt for a smoother and more compact view. You know, something resembling the good old terminal. That’s exactly what the new Terminal View for Logs provides. The Terminal View does away with all the “chrome”, maximizes the use of your browser screen real estate, and gives you a clean, more practical, and efficient way of working with your logs.
The standard Logs Table view is still there, and you can still configure its density to your liking, but the Terminal View packs even more logs on the screen and allows you to apply coloring to fields based on your preference, greatly enhancing log readability.

Give Terminal View a try and see how you like it. If you prefer Terminal View over Logs Table, you can make it your default.
