At the end of November, we’ll be migrating the Sematext Logs backend from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch

Kubernetes workload logs and events now available

December 8, 2023

Following our recent release of Kubernetes Monitoring integration and the new Kubernetes Workloads, we just made it easier for you to get logs and events for your Workloads, simplifying and making your troubleshooting more efficient.

By clicking a specific item in the overview table of each Workload, you can now access the new logs and events tabs in the flyout. In other words, you can now get logs and events for Pods, Deployments, DeamonSets, StatefulSets, CronJobs and Jobs, allowing you to speed up your troubleshooting efforts.

To see these logs connect your Infra App with the appropriate Logs App by using Connected Apps functionality. Under Logs and Events tabs visible in the screenshot above you can expand all logs and Kubernetes events to easily see all fields in their full glory, you can filter them using tags or age, and search them. All this will make your Kubernetes troubleshooting much faster. See the screenshot below.

For more information, please refer to Kubernetes Monitoring Integration docs and don’t forget to update to the latest version of Sematext Agent – we just released version 3.2.1.
