We’ve made it easier to drill down into your data directly from charts.

Previously, the Bar chart allowed clicking to filter by a grouped field’s value, but other charts didn’t support this. Now, we’ve expanded and improved this functionality:

• Pie, Donut, and Numeric charts now support click interactions just like the Bar chart.
• If a data series has a query or filter applied, clicking on it will automatically apply that filter to your report.

This means that when you spot something unusual—like a spike in logs or metrics—you can quickly focus on the relevant data with a single click, instead of manually checking the chart’s settings and copying filters. This improvement helps speed up troubleshooting and makes data exploration smoother.

This works for both logs and metrics, so you can get to the details faster and with less effort.
