At the end of November, we’ll be migrating the Sematext Logs backend from Elasticsearch to OpenSearch

OpenSearch monitoring integration now available

March 13, 2023

We are excited to announce that Sematext now supports OpenSearch Monitoring Integration! This means that Sematext users can now easily monitor their OpenSearch clusters among other technologies.

With the integration, users can leverage Sematext’s comprehensive monitoring and alerting capabilities to gain deep insights into their OpenSearch clusters’ performance and health. This includes real-time monitoring of key metrics such as node CPU usage, memory usage, and disk utilization, as well as monitoring of cluster health and individual shard health.

Users can also set up customizable alerts to be notified of any issues or anomalies in their OpenSearch clusters, ensuring they can quickly identify and resolve any problems before they escalate.

The integration is easy to set up and use, and Sematext’s intuitive interface with pre-built monitoring dashboards and alerts makes it simple to navigate and analyze data. Additionally, Sematext provides powerful visualization tools that allow users to create custom dashboards and charts to better understand their OpenSearch clusters’ performance and trends over time.

Lastly, you can benefit from a number of meaningful built-in tips in the reports, to understand what metrics are about and how to tune their corresponding settings if you are not an OpenSearch expert.

Try out the OpenSearch monitoring integration today and let us know what you think!
